Intelligent Silicon (IS) have just recently created a start-up company for a globally unique product and online platform which has been in design & development over the last 3-4years. This platform is efficient with the potential to save millions if not billions of wasted hours & money for MS Windows users around the world whilst improving IS software in use with our existing customers. In addition, over the same 3-4year period and to coincide with the launch of the new company, IS are also looking to release a number of software & net connected products under the Intelligent Silicon brand whilst also developing more new software & net related solutions for other platforms like Android & iPhone.

We are offering temporary contracts that can lead to permanent employment for those who can bring the skills and demonstrate the qualities being sought with the added bonus of a profit share scheme for those who become employees. We also expect both companies to grow quite quickly once the marketing and sales operations start in earnest, creating further opportunities to evolve and develop new responsibilities within the companies both in the UK and abroad.

The type of individual we are looking for needs to be innovative, independent, & reliable in their field(s) of expertise. Good at problem solving whilst recognising the need to seek answers and solutions quickly and efficiently. Initially the ability to multi task helping to meet the day to day demands our customers will generate can include answering the phones & responding to emails via our communication servers. In essence the tasks undertaken will be fluid and varied with the aim that everyone contributes to helping run & grow the companies to ensure they remain small, agile and responsive whilst delivering the best to our customers. We also recognise no one individual can come up with all the ideas so you will also be expected to contribute your ideas and thoughts no matter how radical or insignificant to ensure the companies remains successful innovative market leaders in all areas of activity.

Whilst you can be based anywhere in the UK and work from home to help reduce commuting costs, you will need to be able to attend periodic meetings in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire and elsewhere around the UK as and when the need arises, and will need a reasonable broadband connection to connect to our online servers. Should you become successful in gaining a permanent employment position, you could be required to work in Bishops Stortford on a more regular basis depending on your position with in one or both companies.
